Well, here we go..
It is my goal in life to always be the most well-read person in any given room.
I recognize that this is ambitious.
But I am going to give it a shot, and begin making my way through the list! First up is Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie. I feel like a terrible literature student, having never even read The Satanic Verses (55 on the list!) but it’s better late than never!
I’ve always been a classics girl- hand me some Austen or Bronte and I’m fully occupied: it will be interesting for me to tackle a book not only published within the last few decades, but that doesn’t take place in some great English estate. Will head to the library tomorrow (today is Labor Day) and begin the journey to India!
